The BIRKENSTOCK Zermatt is our first slipper with a removable footbed, allowing you to choose between two types of footbed. You can choose between the standard footbed and the shearling footbed. The insoles can be ordered individually. Ideal for all year round! The basic version features our standard insole. This version is inspired by the natural footprint of a foot in the sand and provides you with comfort all day long. The upper is made of soft wool felt. Our model (f) wears a narrow width. Our model (m) wears a normal width.

Upper material: Wool felt;

Wool felt is one of the oldest textile materials in the world and is the typical material for the upper part of slippers.

Inner sole: Suede

The flexible leather lining, which is soft on the skin, fits gently on the foot and adjusts to its contour. The open-pored and therefore highly breathable surface provides a comfortable climate for the feet, even during more strenuous physical activities.

Insole material: Cork

Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
