Shipping and delivery

Our shipments are made via CTT Expresso, depending on the destination.

All orders are sent with a tracking service and delivered by signature. Once the order has been dispatched from our warehouses, you can track it using a code that we send by e-mail.

If delivery is not possible due to the absence of the recipient, the order will be forwarded to a nearby collection point for later pick-up.

When providing shipping details (name, address, zip code), please check that they are correct and complete, and in the event that the order cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information, the resulting costs will be borne by the customer.

Fulfillment of orders placed on the website is subject to product availability. Our online stock is automated and we do our utmost to ensure that there are no human or computer failures.

In the event of product unavailability, we will promptly inform the customer of the partial or total cancellation of the order and the customer will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid.

Shipping costs and delivery times

Shipping costs are automatically estimated at the time of purchase in the online store.

Portugal-Spain CTT Expresso - 1 to 3 working days - Free postage on purchases over 60€, if less, 6€ will be charged

Portugal - ISLANDS (Azores and Madeira) CTT Expresso - 5 to 7 working days - Free Shipping on purchases over 100€, if less, 15€ will be charged

Europe CTT Expresso - 4 to 8 working days - Free postage on purchases over 200€, any less will be charged 20€

International (Rest of the World) CTT Expresso - 5 to 10 working days, will be charged 45€

Store Pickup * - 1 to 2 working days - Free

* To do this, simply choose the “Pick up in store” option when finalizing your order. Once payment has been confirmed, we will prepare the order and contact you as soon as it is ready to be picked up in store. Orders will be available between 1 and 2 working days after payment confirmation. To pick up your order, you must show ID and the order code (e.g. ZMBAWWBIV).

Once the order has been dispatched from our warehouses, responsibility for it passes to the carrier. Any delay compared to the estimated delivery time is beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for it, nor does it entitle us to compensation.
If you do not receive your order within the estimated delivery time, please contact us by e-mail (encomendas@sapatariabarata.com) so that we can investigate the situation.

For orders to destinations outside the EU, you may have to pay additional customs fees which we are unable to calculate and which are always the responsibility of the customer.

 

The following payment options are available:

Credit or Debit Card

In this mode, payment can be made using a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card. Payments are 100% secure, mediated by the IFTHENPAY platform.

It is perfectly safe to enter your credit card details in any purchase made at Sapataria Barata as all the data is entered into a Secure Server (SSL) which encrypts all the confidential data relating to your credit card. Internet fraud often happens with cards or card information stolen in the physical world and then misused online. We recommend that you only use your credit cards at trusted establishments and that you do not divulge all or part of the information they contain.

Multibanco

When you choose to pay by ATM, an e-mail will be sent to you with the details you need to pay for the order at an ATM or HomeBanking terminal. The details will also be available in the customer area. You must make a payment for services/purchases and enter the entity, reference and amount indicated. The deadline for payment is 23.59 on the same day after the order is placed. At the end of this period, the stock reserve will become void and the order will be canceled. Payments by Multibanco are mediated by the INFTHPAY financial institution.

MB Way

When you choose to pay by MB Way, a payment request will be sent to the MB Way app on your smartphone within 5 minutes. If you do not confirm payment within this period, the order will be canceled. Payments by MB Way are mediated by the financial institution INFTHPAY.

Payshop

When you choose to pay by Payshop, you will be sent an e-mail with the details you need to pay for the order at any Payshop Agent, CTT Store or Post Office. The details will also be available in the customer area. You must indicate the reference and amount to the Payshop agent. The deadline for payment is 11.59 p.m. on the same day the order is placed. At the end of this period, the stock reserve will become void and the order will be canceled. Payshop payments are mediated by the financial institution INFTHPAY.

Bank Transfer

The customer settles the order by bank transfer, in which case they must indicate the order number. The details for making the transfer will always be visible on the screen and in the e-mail the customer receives with their order. 

The items will be dispatched once the bank has confirmed the transfer. This takes up to 2 days for transfers from Portugal, but up to 8 days for international transfers.
